TGIF
Finally Friday.
Can I get an Amen?!
Work kicked my butt this week. We’re less than 5 weeks away from our major database conversion, and the reality of this just sank in, so I’m staying insanely busy (11+ hour work days).
Needless to say, TGIF. However, I will probably spend a few hours working this weekend on the test converted database.
No set-in-stone plans for the weekend. I’ve offered to help Martha and Trick get settled into their new home. I cleverly planned my last trip back to Omaha on the same weekend they closed on their house (read: I skipped out on helping them paint). Of course, I’m kidding. I didn’t plan for that to happen, just did. I really like their new pad. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t just a little jealous at the fact that it’s 3,000 sq ft.
Alright, time to start my Friday. I’m debating between treating myself to Starbucks or the usual MotoMart Jungle Vanilla Cappucino (it’s $5 vs. $0.96……). I’ll go with the MM beverage and spend the savings on lunch today.
Oh yea, and I ordered my eyelet setter (gotta love eBay!)….I cannot wait for it to arrive. Like 20 minutes after I bought it, I got an email stating the shipper already purchased the shipping label and it should go out today. I can’t help but be grateful that we live in our fast paced society where a scrapbooking accessory can ship less than 12 hours after I purchase it. Thank God (and Al Gore) for the internet.
Alright, I’m really off to work now.

I would give you a big “AMEN SISTA-FRIEND” if I didn’t have to work tomorrow :รพ But I’m still glad its YOUR friday

Hey Jess! Long time no type! I’m glad you guys are going well in O’Fallon and Omaha. The apartment looks cute and I loved Craig’s 1st Day interview. When are we going to get together? Hmmmm? Love ya!
PS…I’ll admit I was stunned by Lance Bass. Do you remember getting the N’Sync CD when we lived together at Transy and how embarrassed I was? I also remember people trying to get me to use one of their sappy songs in my wedding. Now I get to be embarrassed that I like the new Justin Timberlake “Sexy Back” song. I guess on the list of embarrassing things in the life of Kendall these are all pretty far down the list.

Ok so I have to do some shameless self promoting. I’m starting a new meme that I know you will just want to play… ready?…. drumroll……
“Show Me Yours & I’ll Show You Mine”….
go check it out & please play. I’m willing to bet you’ll have some great ideas.

Love the tip of the hat to Al Gore there.
What in God’s name is an eyelet setter? My idea of a scrapbook is getting pictures on the page, maybe adding some interesting colors, papers here and there. Done. Great scrapbook Jennie! Thanks, I put like no time into it. This is as good as it gets with a girl working three people’s jobs.

So true about the shipping! One of the things that’s kept me amused while I’ve been home sick all week has been tracing my moisturizer’s cross-country UPS trek.
I hope the database conversion doesn’t keep you too busy to update the blog again soon!
