Little Coop is growing up

Coop is AWESOME! He’s well trained, he’s fun, he doesn’t bark (we’ve heard him bark 3 times in 6 weeks!), and he’s cute!

He’s 15 weeks now and is growing like a weed. He gained 10 lbs in 10 days! According to the vet, “hope you all wanted a big dog cuz Coop’s gunna be huge!”

We’re psyched!

Here are some great pics of the little guy. Isn’t he beautiful?

And, here are a few videos of him being super well trained!

This is feeding time. We trained him not to beg and to await our signal before he can eat.

This one is a hoot. My dad’s a doctor and he trained Coop “Code Blue!” which prompts Coop to roll over on his back and kick all four legs in the air as if he were dead. I never thought you could teach a dog that. Craig worked with him one afternoon and voila! Code Blue was born!

He sits, stays, fetches, shakes and now Codes on demand. What a cutie.

  2. How adorable!

Max is growing like a weed, too. He also put on 10 lb in about two weeks. He’s been under the weather with a food allergy, which has made the last week…interesting to say the least. Let’s just say steroids and special shampoo and a totally new, salmon-based diet!

It’s so funny — I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but YouTube is giving all these “related videos” of a character called Coop, who is a hot twentysomething cop on General Hospital, on your video.

    Hope you feel better soon!

  3. So precious. He really has grown up! And aren’t they entertaining? It still amazes me what all Vader knows and what he is still learning…

  5. Can I just say that Coop has got to be the cutest doggie ever! I’m serious!

As far as his barking Rocco (my chihuahua) was 6-7 months old before he would bark. And when he did, it was like hearing his first word….SO sweet!
