W.W.O.D.
I’ve purchased my bracelets and I’m ready to embark on this journey. I’ve seen many people go through a transformation after discovering the power of O.
Nearly every day, something I do is influenced by O.
Jennie, the mothership and mothership-in-love, Stew— they all use the O to their benefit.
So I, too, shall begin asking myself “W.W.O.D?”
What Would Oprah Do?
Not a day goes by when I ask a question and someone answers with “Well, Oprah says…”
Seriously, you’d think Oprah was omnipotent; apparently, she knows something about everything!
Me: “Oh, my stomach hurts.”
Jennie: “Is your Poo S-shaped?”
Me: “Excuse me?”
Jennie: “Is your Poo S-shaped? Oprah says your poo should be s-shaped.”
When we first got Coop, everyone had advice for us, but mostly people referred us to Oprah. Apparently Oprah has on this dog expert that knows it all.
Well, we watched Cesar and using some of his training, we have successfully taught Coop not to bite.
I think about the careers that Oprah has shaped. She introduced the world to Dr. Phil, Rachel Ray, Cesar Millan, and Dr. Oz.
She opened an amazing school in South Africa.
I could learn a thing or two from this lady.
I’m going to start Tivo’ing Oprah every day. The biggest challenge will be finding the time to watch the shows. I barely watch TV as it is, but hopefully I’ll be able to set aside time to keep up.
Her season premiere is September 10th, so I’ve got a few weeks to rev up for the big event.
I’m psyched about the O!

I don’t watch EVERY Oprah. After about ten of them build up on the Tivo, I go through the descriptions and delete the ones I don’t give a crap about.
P.S. Your poo doesn’t have to be S-shaped. But Dr. Oz says it should be S, C or I shaped. No “tiny marbles.”

I’m so excited for you!!! I hope you chronicle your Oprah journey!I actually DO watch every episode, although I probably don’t finish about 5-10 a year. They are usually (I know this shocking) the celebrity episode. They get all the good stuff in the first 30 minutes.
I can’t wait to have someone else to talk to Oprah about!

I can’t go along with you on this one, darlin’. I truly respect Oprah as a creature of her own making, a trendsetter, and a career-booster. I just often feel like she holds some sort of mind-control sway over her viewers in a very Jim Jones/Waco way…. As much as I’d love to have legions of minions, I can’t imagine being one.
I’d love to get my hands on her Manolo collection, though. Girl always wears some fierce shoes!
Happy Oprah-ing, though. I’ll stick to Ellen!
xoxo
