Journey of a soldier
Got a final call from my brother this morning just before they boarded the plane for Kuwait. I felt torn; it sounded like he wanted to talk more, but I know he and his wife had limited time together, so I wanted him to spend it with her.
His wife posted her first entry on the family blog. It’s bitter sweet. Very real.
So, as we speak, Soldier is on his way to the Middle East. Keep he and the wife in your thoughts and prayers.
I totally felt the same way! I didn’t want to take up his time with her either. I told him I loved him and to take care and told him to call Mom.

Warm thoughts and prayers for you and your entire family. I can’t imagine how difficult it must be, yet at the same time you have to be so proud of him!
