Be heard!

If you really want to cast a vote that will make a difference, then vote for Howie and Janey for Big Brother All Stars!

Here’s why you should vote for them. Howie entertains through comedy and wit. He also has a big heart and he creates fun drama, not dramatic drama. He’s been known to cross dress and his personal attacks on other cast members crack me up.

Janey deserves your vote because she’s the best non-winning player in Big Brother history. She’s a blonde bombshell that took everyone in Season 6 by surprise. She has an incredible memory, which serves her well during the HOH competitions. She’s also very outspoken, so when someone ticks her off, she lets ‘em have it.

Jedi Janey and Hurricane Howie definitely need to be involved in the All Star Season. They left such an impression on me, I renamed my kittie boos after them.

I also wouldn’t mind if Kaysar and James from Season 6 made a come back. Kaysar was voted back into the house during his season (receiving 80%+ of America’s votes), but in a brain dead move, immediately got booted off again (Jen sucks). Aside from the brief moment of stupidity in which Kaysar trusted Jen, he really is a great player. He’s intelligent and schemes very well.

James basically lies his way through the game, but he’s soooo good at it that even though everyone knows he lies, they still trust him! Plus, he’s won the most golden vetos in BB history, so he definitely deserves to be an All Star.

Basically, everyone except Ivette (who I cannot stand) from BB Season 6 should make the All Stars. Then again, I’ve only watched Season 6 (never saw any of the first 5 seasons), so I have no idea who the other characters are.

Puh-lease cast your vote for Janey and Howie!

Am I crazy?

Am I crazy? (This is a rhetorical question, so no need to answer outloud.)

I totally just stole an idea from my friend and sorority sister, Heather, who has several blogs. One is what I consider to be a regular blog, one is a Velocity blog about her experiences living in the big city (she’s from a small, KY town), and she also has Heather’s Kitchen, which is a recipe blog. I’ve chosen to steal her recipe blog idea and created it last night.

I most certainly do not have a ton of time on my hands, but I do have many good recipes and what better way to organize them than to blog about them?!

So, check out Lackadaisical Motivation’s sassy and cute new baby sister, Recipes from a New Cook.

I don’t anticipate blogging nearly as often on the recipe site, but as I come across good recipes, I’ll post them for all to see. I put a lot of thought into the categories, anticipating that when I need a recipe for an event (card night at the Lotzs, the Luau at work, or a 4th of July picnic with friends), that I’ll just be able to log on and click a category and have a good selection to choose from. Feel free to email me with recipes if you have ‘em and want to share. I give credit where it’s due, so you’ll get your props.
