Coop is AWESOME! He’s well trained, he’s fun, he doesn’t bark (we’ve heard him bark 3 times in 6 weeks!), and he’s cute!
He’s 15 weeks now and is growing like a weed. He gained 10 lbs in 10 days! According to the vet, “hope you all wanted a big dog cuz Coop’s gunna be huge!”
We’re psyched!
Here are some great pics of the little guy. Isn’t he beautiful?

And, here are a few videos of him being super well trained!
This is feeding time. We trained him not to beg and to await our signal before he can eat.
This one is a hoot. My dad’s a doctor and he trained Coop “Code Blue!” which prompts Coop to roll over on his back and kick all four legs in the air as if he were dead. I never thought you could teach a dog that. Craig worked with him one afternoon and voila! Code Blue was born!
He sits, stays, fetches, shakes and now Codes on demand. What a cutie.

What you are about to see is NOT CUTE! This is me…raw. No make up. No prep.
But, I have no shame, so here I am after having dem wisdom teeth yanked/cracked/pulled out this morning.

By far the two best things that happened to me today:
1) all of the wonderful milkshakes Hubs had made for me. By days end, I will no doubt have thrown back over a gallon of ice cream!
2) the awesome package I received in the mail from O Mama Mia!! She seriously rocks my world! I wish I had been looking/feeling better, but despite that, I wanted to make sure I caught the excitement on camera. I really am smiling, I promise! She sent me a kick ass pink purse with a jeweled “J” on the handle, as well as some flavored coffee (I AM NOT WORTHY!), some yummy smelling candles and Rockin’ OPI nail polish since she knows how much I love to keep my toesies kept up! Such a sweetie that OMM is
I lurv her!

Thank you soooo much! I owe you one, my sista!
Muuuuaaaaah!
I feel good. My swelling is pretty minimal since I’ve been keeping ice packs on my face all day. The vicodin helps with the pain, but as the day wears on, things are starting to get a little tight. Milkshakes and pudding have become my meals of choice.
Hubs and I rented Rescue Me Season One, so I’m off to continue laying here with my mouth stuffed full of bloody gauze and uncontrollable drooling

Tomorrow the wisdom teeth come out. I’m not sure why, but I’m super nervous. I’m more concerned about the aftermath than I am the actual procedure. Doc gave me some good drugs, though, so hopefully those’ll pull me through.
I’ve asked Hubs if he wants to video me coming out of anesthesia, but he said “probably not.”
I hear people do pretty funny things so I kinda want to have it on video. Maybe I’ll find something to bribe him with so we can all have a good laugh. Who knows, maybe I’ll be really boring and just lay there.
Alright, it’s been a nice relaxing day (first one in a long time), so I’m going to continue on with it and catch up on some Gene Simmons Family Jewels. Love that man, I do.

Yes, I am alive. My apologies for the lack of blogging, but life is happening and I don’t want it to pass me by!
Hubs is home and we’re totally enjoying our honeymooners phase of marriage
He’ll begin work in a few weeks, so he’s trying to enjoy his days at home. I’m a good wife…no “to do” lists for him!
Coop is doing great! He’s soooo good! He can sit, lay down, stay and shake. I’m currently teaching him to roll over. That one is a little more difficult. He’s growing like a weed! He gained 10 lbs in 10 days. The vet said he’s going to be a “huge” dog. YES!
In other news, I am the proud owner of a new Sirius Stiletto. It’s awesome! Hubs bought it for me as a thank you for all of my work at the ‘partment in Omaha. It was…..not exactly movable when I got there. Lots of….stuff needing cleaning. But, we managed to get things packed up and moved.
It’s great having Hubs here. I come home from work and he and Coop are usually standing there in the kitchen to greet me. I love it.
What I don’t love is my impending wisdom teeth removal on Monday. I’m sooo nervous. I hate going to the dentist and I’ve been putting off the wisdom teeth removal for 10 years (in fact, I still have the original order my dentist wrote back in 1997 for me to have them removed!). Now I’m at the point where it’s painful and they’re bothering me, so in one week, I’ll be wisdom toothless. Booooo!
I’m a baby when it comes to pain. Good thing Dr. L gave me Vicodin to help ease my pain. I’ve never had that stuff and I’m dying to see what it’s like! Plus he told me not to wait until the anesthesia began wearing off; he said to take the first pain pill as soon as I get home.
Still nervous as heck, though. I probably won’t get any sleep the night before.
In other news, my friends Scott and Robin added a beautiful new addition to their family….baby Aidan.

Two words. Ador. Able.
Isn’t he precious? He’s 10 days old now. They adopted him and got to be there during the birth and everything! I’m so happy for them! Congrats my friends!
Alright, work is kicking my tail and I have to get up early so this blonde is hitting the sack.

To the best of my recollection, here is how the move went down yesterday morning:
Larry (the mover): Hi Mrs Hubs. I’m Larry. This is Charlie, Scott, and Jim.
Me: Hi, I’m Mrs. Hubs. Thanks for coming out to help us move.
Larry: Not a problem.
Me: You’re like, what, 83 years old?
Larry: (laugh) NO! But close. 82.
Me: Ah, I see. (pointing) There’s our big screen TV and there’s our piano.
Jim: (laughing) Piano stays, right?
Me: (laughing harder) You wish.
Jim: Actually, Larry wishes. He’s old.
Larry: (calling out) Break time guys!
Me: But, you just got here. You haven’t even moved anything or taken inventory of our stuff.
Larry: Exactly.
15 minutes later…
Larry: Ok, we’re getting started.
20 minutes later…
Hubs to Me: Um, hun, I think Larry’s dead.
Me: (laughing) What?
Hubs: I’m serious. He’s either passed out on our bed or he’s dead.
Me: (not laughing) Well, he’d better move before they get the bed. I’m not paying extra for dead weight.
